In 2002 she was invited by l'AFAA (Association Française d'Action Artistique) and La Ville de Paris for a residence in China,
to photograph museums and architectural treasures.
She was selected by La Maison Européenne de la Photographie for the acquisition of works by young artists in 1999.
Alejandra Figueroa since 1998, has been commissioned to carry out various government projects involving French public museums and monuments.
